Uppark House, Sussex

We worked at this National Trust property for St Blaise Ltd. The photo shows work to Humphry Reptons Dining Room. Main works were to conserve as much of the original joinery as possible and replace all that had been lost in the house fire that almost destroyed the whole property in 1989. 

Copy of 10 Downing Street fanlight

Woolmersdon House, Somerset

Commission to make a copy of the fanlight of No. 10 Downing Street. Fanlight made to fit existing opening above front door.

Joinery and furniture conservation examples

Grade I listed 18th century staircase

Work carried for St Blaise Ltd to replace the newel, spindles and handrail in walnut to match existing structure. Section of staircase had been destroyed in the 60s when the house was converted into flats.

Chinese cabinet restoration

The picture shows a small part of work carried out on a 19th century cabinet. Here we see a replacement foot, hand carved to match existing, shown before colouring and polishing.
